“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows”.
It was about 3:30am. It was the month of September, 2010. I was reading “The Principles and Benefits of Change” by Dr. Myles Munroe when the Lord spoke.
He said, “Son, there is a repositioning coming to the Land of Eruwa. I want you to be there to reap the harvest”.
When I heard harvest, I rejoiced because harvest sounded real good. Who does not like harvests?
Then, God added, “Son before you reap the harvest, you must have been there to sow the seed. You cannot reap what you have not sown”.
At that point, I began to understand that God was pointing me in a direction of ministry in Eruwa.
Friends, I know there must have been great prophecies which have gone ahead of you this year. But can I ask you: Have you started to pay the price in order to see them come to pass?
If there will be a harvest, there must be a planting. I love confessions but when confession is isolated from hard work, it becomes mere wishes.
And you must know that wishes are lame – actions carry them. In the past few days of this year, have you consistently worked towards the prophetic end that you see?
You cannot lie to a farmer that there is no seed in the ground, even if you are not seeing it. The farmer is not mad. Even if you are not seeing results yet, keep watering the ground. Keep weeding it. The plant will emerge. The tree will stand.
The prophecies that have gone ahead of me shall be fulfilled. The seed will grow. The fruits will come.
Father, help me to be a faithful sower. Lord, grant me grace to harvest your will for my life.
